Chris Hawkes bought his first decks almost three years ago and was instantly hooked. Spending all spare cash on his passion for music, Chris's vinyl collection now stands at around 500 tunes. After playing around with a few different styles, he has now settled on the house of the harder variety!

Infuences for the hard dance sound Chris plays would include BK, Andy Farley, Alex Calver, Dave the Drummer and Guy McAffer.

His mixing style has been described as 'tight and technical' by members of HarderFaster.net (reviews of chris's mix's can be found in the online mixes section)

After playing lots of sets in some quite big and well known clubs, Chris is now turning his head towards production which now seems to be the natural progression for DJ's.

Chris has just finished a year out from his computer aided design career, studying music production at The Vestax DJ Academy. Whilst at Vestax, Chris won the DJ competition which gained him a set at Fabric! Overall, he achieved 7 Distinctions and 1 Merit, giving overall distinction for the course.
